Procedure for Installing Java on your computer


1.	put in CD
2.	Click on Sun Microsystems Java 2 SDK for Windows to install (then install it)
3.	Click on TextPad (install it)
4.	take out CD
5.	Go to school web site (www.bptcentral.org)
6.	Go to Departments
7.	Go to Computer Science
8.	Go to AP Level A
9.	Select Input Class
10.	Copy the text and paste it into Texpad
11.	Save file as input.java in a folder where you will keep your java
12.	Compile it
13.	Go to AP web page
14.	Select Test class
15.	Copy it into TextPad
16.	Save it as test.java
17.	Compile it
18.	Run it
